Reason 6 - looks weak IMO

Last time I upgraded from Reason 4 to Reason 5 I was thoroughly dissapointed....Reason 6 does not even look close to worth the upgrade price for me. Although Fly Lo was tweeting about how great it was, which makes me somewhat curious to try it out. Has anyone upgraded yet that can give me some insight?

hell yeah, it's some powerful shit haha. might take a min to learn it but its worth it.

Yeaaa i seen FlyLo had a twitter boner for the upgrade. Don't really see all the goodness, but it really comes down to what software works best for you.

I use reason 6 & I think its extremely great.
Very powerful music production program.
& now that i can record vocals right inside of reason instead of exporting a beat and then importing into another daw, it makes the music creation process much more fun.

The new effects are dope too. & I really love the new way the racks on reason is set up.
And the new mixer.... Maaaaan. Thats the best new feature. It was originally only in "Record".
But Now that reason and record are combined in Reason 6, the new mixer is applied to every single thing in reason.

Ive been using reason since it first came out, so im kind of a fanboy. Haha!

@KingBoom word, I have had Record since it came out so the mixer and the recording into Reason isnt new to me. I guess the only reason I would even get it is for the new effects. Don't get me wrong, I love Reason I just dont think the upgrade from Record/Reason 5 is worth it just for the new effects. What is new about the Rack in 6?

The same thing as the mixer... the way it is in record is the way it is in reason now since they are combined. I really dig the multi-column Set up you can do. Makes organization a little easier when you are using a lot of devices.

I feel you though. A lot of people feel the same way about reason if they already had Record. I didn't have record until i bought Reason 6 though. So a lot of stuff is new & exciting to me in the upgrade. I kind of feel like Reason trying to run the game right now. Haha!

wow, so I just found out that you can upgrade for $1 if you already have Reason and Record. I think it was worth the dollar lol.
