I really dont have any tricks for using live 8 Cause i use it to route incoming audio from my mixer....which has various samplers and synth's hooked up to it...and then i sequence that incoming audio into the beat i want in live 8.....A few months ago i did Purchased Max for live and have been creating my own effect devices...and it easy to use...you create your device then midi map it and start having fun...you can pretty much do anything you want when creating devices on max for live...for all type of mangled glitch type stuff and a bunch of other stuff to alter and modify audio in live 8 with max for live just by combining devices to do what you want them to do
